1 dead, another critical in Saturday night Montgomery shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A boy is dead and a man is in critical condition after a Saturday night shooting, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Details remain limited, but MPD says officers and fire medics responded to the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard just before 8:30 p.m. on reports of people having been shot. That’s just off Interstate 85 near Carmichael Road.
First responders found the juvenile, whose exact age was not released, and pronounced him dead on the scene. The man, whose name and age are also unknown, was taken to an area hospital in life-threatening condition.
No information on a motive or possible suspects was known as the investigation continues.
