Bayern Munich strengthened their grip on top spot in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena.
Following a frustrating first half in which the hosts failed to break through Bremen’s disciplined defence, they returned from the interval with renewed intensity and ultimately overwhelmed their visitors.
Harry Kane came closest before the break, rattling the crossbar and later sending a header inches wide, but Bremen held firm.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 56th minute when Kane converted a penalty after a handball by Jung.
Leroy Sane doubled Bayern’s lead in the 82nd minute, finishing from close range after a low cross from Konrad Laimer.
As Werder struggled to respond, Kane sealed the victory deep into stoppage time with another calmly taken penalty after Musiala was fouled in the box.

Randal Kolo Muani’s impressive start to life at Juventus continued as his brace secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Como.
The hosts were far from their best but found a way through thanks to their new talisman, who once again proved decisive in front of goal.
Juventus struck first in the 34th minute when Nicolas González threaded a perfect pass through to Kolo Muani, who shifted onto his right foot before rifling an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
However, Como, the better side for large parts of the first half, found a deserved equaliser deep into stoppage time. Patrick Cutrone kept a loose ball alive before delivering a lofted cross to the back post, where Assane Diao bundled it home to make it 1-1.
The second half remained a tight affair, but Juventus were awarded a late penalty. Kolo Muani stepped up confidently, sending Rudez the wrong way and slotting into the top left corner to seal all three points.

Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to 13 points with a 4-1 victory over Monaco at the Parc des Princes.
Despite a competitive first half, Luis Enrique’s side pulled away after the break, scoring three unanswered goals to seal a resounding win.
Vitinha’s clever free-kick opened the scoring inside six minutes, catching Monaco’s defence off guard. However, the visitors responded well, equalising through Denis Zakaria after a well-worked move involving Soungoutou Magassa.
The first half remained an end-to-end affair, with both sides creating chances, but it was PSG who emerged from the interval with renewed intensity.
A rapid-fire double in the second half swung the game in PSG’s favour. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia showcased his skill with a dazzling solo effort in the 54th minute, before Ousmane Dembele added a third moments later after linking up with Desire Doue. Monaco had their moments, with Embolo, Golovin, and Akliouche all threatening, but PSG’s quality proved too much.
