Boxing Results: Movladdin ‘The Wolf’ Biyarslanov Stops Mohamed Mimoune

Olympian and NABF junior welterweight champion Arthur ‘The Wolf’ Biyardlanov, defending against former IBO champ Mohamed ‘The Problem’ Minoune, scored a second-round stoppage on Thursday night at Montreal Casino, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The co-feature had unbeaten WBA International Light Heavyweight champion Albert Ramirez of Venezuela stopped Marko Calic of Croatia in the third round.

In the Main Event, Olympian and NABF Junior Welterweight champion Arthur ‘The Wolf’ Biyardlanov, 18-0 (15), stopped former IBO champ Mohamed ‘The Problem’ Mimoune, 24-7 (5) at 2:16 of the second round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, it was all Biyardlanov while Mimoune, hands held high, rarely landed a punch. In the second round, Biyardlanov landed punch after punch with little in return from Mimoune before Referee Alain Velleneuve suddenly waved it off.

Co-Feature WBA International Light Heavyweight champ southpaw Albert Ramirez, 20-0 (17) knocked out Marko Calic, 15-2 (9) at 2:10 of the third round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the second round’s final seconds, Ramirez landed a left to the chin, knocking Calic back several steps. In the third round, a right hook on the head from Ramirez and down went Calic for an 8-count from Referee Frank Gentile. Upon rising, referee Gentile walked Calic to his corner, who waved it off.

Light Heavyweight Olympian Mehmet Unal, 12-0 (10) knocked out Ezequiel Maderna, 31-14 (21) at 1:41 of the third round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, Maderna out-landed Unal. In the second rounds final seconds a Unal left to the chin dropped Maderna to a knee and an 8-count from Referee Martin Forest.

In the third round, after half a round, an overhand right from Unal on the side of the head dropped Maderna, who barely beat the count with referee Forest waving it off.

Welterweight Christopher ‘Machine Gun’ Guerrero, 13-0 (7) knocked out Dennis ‘The Menace’ Dauti, 25-6-2 (9) at 1:08 of the fourth round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, it was all Guerrero. In the second round, Dauti come back well enough to win a close round. Thirty seconds into the fourth round, a left hook to the midsection from Guerrero and down went Dauti for the count from referee Albert Padulo, Jr. for the first stoppage of Dauti.

Super middleweight southpaw Moreno ‘The Soldier’ Fendero, 9-0 (7) stopped former German BAN champ Edison Demaj, 13-4-1 (7) at 1:36 of the third round of a scheduled eight rounds.

At the first round, halfway point, Fendero grabbed Demaj by the back of the head, pulling him to the canvas. In the final 40 seconds, Fendero landed a left on the head, dropping Demaj for an 8-count from Referee Alain Villeneuve.

In the third round, after 15 seconds, a left on the nose caused a cut and a knockdown from Fendero as Demaj hit the canvas for an 8-count from Referee Villenueve. In the midway point a right hook on the chin from Demaj and down for another 8-count. As he got up Referee Vellenueve waved it off for the first time Demaj was stopped.

Lightweight Avery ‘The Future’ Duval, 13-0-1 (7) defeated Keshan Koaly, 6-2-1) over eight good rounds.

In the first round Duval landed several overhand rights on the chin of Koaly, a late sub. At the end of the second round, Duval caught his foot in the apron but was ruled a knockdown after landing a jab by referee Martin Forest. In the third round, Duval evened the score, outworking Koaly in a close round.

In the fourth round, Duval landed a solid right under the left eye, hurting Koaly and causing a welt. In the fifth and sixth rounds, Duval continued being the aggressor, landing the right on the chin several times.

In the seventh round Duval got the final right in on the side of the head of Koaly. In the eighth and final round, Koaly was more aggressive, feeling he may need a stoppage. Duval seemed to take the round ending with a left hook to the chin of Koaly. Koaly’s injury under the left eye was quite swollen, while Duval had a small abrasion on his forehead. Duval had ‘Jesus is King’ on his trunk’s front belt line.

Scores 78-73 twice and 78-74.
